The building took on 31″ of water from September flooding. The City has removed all carpeting, and 4′ of drywall up from the floor. They say electrical wiring closest to the floor may have to be replaced, and there are signs of mold primarily on the ceiling tiles. Attempts will be made to arrange a meeting between the Hall of Fame Board of Directors and Parks Department officials concerning the possibility of moving and/or new construction on higher ground rather than another round of repairs combined with the threat of this happening again.
